Top Value Hotels in Disney World

Disney World vacations can get expensive, especially when traveling as a family of four or more. Staying on property has many benefits and perks, but that can make your vacation even more expensive. Fortunately, Disney offers value hotels to help make your trip a little more affordable.

There are 5 different value hotels to choose from, but Art of Animation and All-Star Music stand above the rest when it comes to choosing the perfect value hotel for your stay.

Art of Animation

When it comes to theming, no hotel will make you feel the excitement of your Disney World vacation like Disney’s Art of Animation. From the second you arrive, you’ll be immersed in the magic of Disney and Pixar storytelling with larger-than-life artwork and character statues located all around the courtyards.

Even the rooms are themed after some of your favorite Disney films such as The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Cars, and The Little Mermaid, making this the perfect hotel for families.

One of the greatest benefits of the Art of Animation resort is the availability of family suites. These rooms can sleep up to 6 adults, making it perfect for larger families or guests who want an affordable hotel that’s a little more spacious than a standard room for two or four.

The family suites also come with a small fridge and microwave, making it convenient to heat up food in the room without having to go down to the hotel food court. They also have two bathrooms so you don’t need to worry about stumbling over each other in the morning while getting ready for the theme parks.

Another perk of Art of Animation is the amount of pools. With three different pools to choose from, you don’t have to worry about searching for a lounge chair or feeling too crowded while swimming. This hotel is home to Disney’s largest swimming pool, the 308,527 iconic Big Blue Pool, themed after the beloved Finding Nemo film. For fans of Cars and The Little Mermaid, you can also take a dip in the Cozy Cone Pool and the Flippin’ Fin Pool.

Like all Disney hotels, the Art of Animation has dining options directly on-site. Landscape of Flavors is a food court open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can start your day with some classic Mickey waffles or get yourself a Loaded Totcho Bowl. You can get a large pizza to share for dinner or order something lighter like a Greek salad with chicken. The menu is large and varied so there’s something for everyone.

Unlike moderate and deluxe resorts, there are no table service options. Some find the food court menu items simplistic and lower in quality compared to other meals around the Disney World Resort. Fortunately, the Art of Animation is located on the Disney Skyliner. This means you can hop on a Gondola and travel over to the Riviera Resort or Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in a matter of minutes for something a little more formal.

That brings us to the final selling point of what makes Art of Animation one of Disney’s best value resorts: the Disney Skyliner. Taking one of Disney’s complimentary buses to the theme parks is great, but you can often run into long lines, especially in the morning before the parks open. If you’re traveling to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, you can take the Skyliner, a whimsically-themed gondola experience that gets you from your hotel to the theme parks.

All-Star Music

Disney World has three different All-Star Resorts: All-Star Music, All-Star Movies, and All-Star Sports. While all are fine options when choosing a value hotel, our topic pick has to be All-Star Music Resort.

Disney describes this hotel as a place that “pays homage to some of the world’s most popular music genres, including country, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, calypso and Broadway-style show tunes.” You won’t be able to walk through this property without being met with the sight of an oversized jukebox or a pair of country boots. With over 1,700 rooms, you may find yourself in a suite themed after jazz, Broadway, country, rock, or calypso music.

What makes All-Star Music stand out from the other All-Star hotels is the addition of family suites. For a more affordable price, than you’d pay at a moderate or deluxe resort, you can have access to a room that sleeps 6 with access to a microwave and two bathrooms. If you’re looking for affordability, the family suites at All-Star Music are typically less expensive than the family suites over at Art of Animation. By booking your Disney World vacation through us, we can help find you the best room rate possible to make sure your trip happens within your budget.

All-Star Music has two fun-themed pools to choose from. You can relax at the Calypso Pool, decorated with bongos, maracas, and even a fountain of the Three Caballeros! There’s also a smaller Piano Pool. Both are great options when you need to relax after a long day of walking around the Disney theme parks.

When it comes to food, the Intermission Food Court has a variety of options for even the pickiest eaters. From hot dogs to cheeseburgers, it’s a great stop for those looking to find a quick meal before or after heading into the theme parks.

Value Hotels: A Great Way to Save

So if you’re looking to do Disney World on a budget without having to stay off-property, Art of Animation and All-Star Music are our top picks! Both are excellent value hotels, but if you’re unsure of which is right for you, let us know! We can help ensure that your upcoming Disney World vacation is one you’ll never forget.
