Best Theme Park Bars in Hollywood Studios

Not only does Hollywood Studios have plenty to offer in terms of entertainment and rides, but they also have some of the most unique theme park bars. Whether you want a classy afternoon cocktail or an adventurous and exotic beverage, there is something for everyone looking for an adult beverage in Hollywood Studios.

Oga’s Cantina

The most unique theme park bar in all of Hollywood Studios (and possibly all of Walt Disney World) is Oga’s Cantina located in Galaxy’s Edge. This bar is perfect for fans of the Star Wars films and television shows, but even those who can’t name a single Star Wars character will still appreciate the immersive and detailed theming of this galactic bar.

You’ll be able to grab an exotic beverage as you listen to the musical entertainment thanks to DJ R-3X, a droid who used to be a pilot but now spends his time playing fun music for smugglers and Disney guests. Fans of Star Wars may even recognize a song or two if you stick around long enough.

Due to its popularity, guests are limited to 45 minutes to enjoy the ambiance and their drinks. The bar is open from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM. Once you check in for your reservation, you’ll be seated at a standing high top, at the bar, or seated at a booth. Because of the limited space, you may be combined with another party of guests depending on how many people are in your reservation.

Alcoholic offerings include specialty drinks such as the Jedi Mind Trick and the Fuzzy Tauntaun. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available! Those who prefer not to drink can enjoy selections such as the Blue Bantha, a glass of the infamous blue milk served with a delicious vanilla-butter sugar cookie with coconut.

Oga’s also has a few snack options. Oga’s Obsession is a lemonade and cotton candy jello-type dessert with blueberry popping pearls and dried fruit; the Rodian Ration is an alcoholic version of this snack. You can also order Batuu Bits, a snack mix with dip, or the Happabore Sampler, a galactic charcuterie board.

This is one of the most difficult bars to get reservations for, so if you have Star Wars fans traveling in your party, let us know and we can help secure a reservation for Oga’s Cantina during your next Disney World Vacation.

Tune-In Lounge

Attached to the iconic 50’s Prime Time Cafe is the Tune-In Lounge, a laid-back bar that requires no dining reservations. As long as there’s room, you can just walk up to the bar and place your order!

This fun bar is designed like a 1950s living room, complete with old television sets and even a couple of couches that you can sit on to enjoy your beverage!

One of their specialty cocktails is Dad’s Electric Lemonade, a drink made with vodka, Blue Curaçao, Sweet-and-Sour, Sprite®, and a Souvenir Glow Cube to help make the colors pop and feel truly electric.

You can also get the Tune-In PBJ Cocktail, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, Bols Blackberry Brandy, and Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur topped with a Maraschino Cherry. For those looking for something simpler, the Tune-In Lounge also offers various wines, beers, and ciders. It’s a full bar so even if something is not on the menu, you can try asking the bartender as they’re incredibly friendly and energetic!

For those looking to enjoy a blast from the past, Tune-In Lounge is the place to go to enjoy a drink or two! If you’re looking to enjoy dinner during the 50s, let us know! We can help you get a dining reservation at the Prime Time Diner, a 50s-themed restaurant that serves delicious fried chicken and peanut butter and jelly milkshakes!

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge

For those looking for a more sophisticated themed bar, the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is an excellent option. This is also the only bar on our list that serves beverages, as well as a wide selection of food offerings so you can enjoy a full meal here if you’re hungry enough.

This bar is located on the patio of the Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant and does not require advanced reservations, unlike its more formal counterpart. Instead, you can ask the host to put your name on the list and wait to be called for your table or you can join the mobile walk-up list using the My Disney Experience app. The app will also let you know about how long you can expect to wait for your table.

Once seated on this casual patio, you’ll be given both a food and beverage menu. The Brown Derby Lounge has various wines and cognacs, and even a dessert drink flight!

The lounge has a full bar outside, meaning you can order several specialty cocktails and flights to help make the most of your afternoon in the theme park.

You can also dine here, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing lunch! The menu has items such as Escargot and Shrimp Cocktail for appetizers to name a few. Entrées include selections like Filet Mignon and Free-Range Chicken and Dumplings. If you’re looking for something light, both the Lounge and Restaurant are famous for their Cobb Salad, a salad made with spit-roasted turkey, bacon, egg, tomatoes, blue cheese, avocado, and classic dressing.

Still not full? The Brown Derby Lounge also serves dessert! They have decadent chocolate cake, grapefruit cake, Crème Brûlée, and more, so there’s something for everyone with a sweet tooth.
