Best Theme Park Bars in EPCOT
EPCOT is famous for its world showcase, a 1.3-mile loop that allows guests to visit various pavilions themed after 11 different countries. Fans of the Walt Disney theme parks coined the phrase “drinking around the world,” the act of visiting every pavilion to try an alcoholic beverage from each country.
Each country offers a different experience, but we’ve put together what we believe to be the best bars in all of EPCOT.
La Cava Del Tequila
Our top bar has to be none other than La Cava del Tequila located in the Mexico Pavilion. They have over 200 different tequilas, as well as several specialty cocktails and drinks. Guests have great things to say about every drink on the menu, but a favorite among Disney fans has to be La Cava Avocado: Tromba Blanco tequila, melon liqueur, and fresh avocado with lime juice served frozen with a hibiscus salt rim. It’s the perfect drink to help you cool off on a hot Florida day.
You can also order light snacks such as guacamole and queso with tortilla chips. There is limited seating here, so you can choose to enjoy your beverage and chips at the bar or a table or order it to go.
This bar does not accept reservations and there can sometimes be a bit of a line due to its popularity, but we can ensure you that it’s worth the wait. If you only plan to drink in one country in the World Showcase, La Cava Del Tequila is the place to go!
Looking for an elevated experience? La Cava Del Tequila offers a tequila tasting called La Cava Experience. For $180 a person, you’ll be guided by a tequila ambassador through different selections of rare agave spirits. Each drink is paired with a flavor that truly enhances the drinking experience.
While food is not served during this experience, you can expect a light snack of chips and guacamole. This is a fantastic experience for lovers of tequila, so if it sounds like something you’re interested in, be sure to get in touch with one of our agents. Reservations are required and we can help make sure you’re able to attend this event during your Disney vacation.
Rose & Crown Pub
Over in the United Kingdom pavilion, you’ll find the Rose & Crown Pub. This cozy pub will make you feel as though you just stepped off a street in London and into the local tavern for a beer.
This bar sells only drinks so you won’t be able to get any food or light snacks, but their beverage menu is fairly extensive. They have a handful of specialty cocktails, as well as a variety of beer, wine, sangria, ale, cognac, and more. You can even order a flight to sample different whiskeys or drinks.
One of their best speciality drinks is the Welsh Dragon, a vibrant green cocktail made with Peach Schnapps, Melon Liqueur, Crème de Menthe, Orange Juice, and Pineapple Juice.
This bar is located right on the water, so you can ordr yourself a beer then head outside to enjoy the EPCOT nighttime fireworks show with your friends and family!
The best part is that this bar requires no reservations! You can simply walk up to the bar and order yourself a beverage. It can get pretty busy, so most people tend to order their drink and leave to enjoy it somewhere else in the theme park. If you’re interested in some fish and chips or bangers and mash, you can head next door to the Rose & Crown Dining Room for dinner. Unlike the Rose & Crown Pub, the Dining Room does accept reservations.
Space 220 Lounge
The Space 220 Lounge is one of EPCOT’s newest additions. Named for being 220 miles above planet Earth, this lounge requires a special space elevator that lifts you up through the stars where you can enjoy an aerial view of EPCOT.
This lounge is open for both lunch and dinner and does require advanced dining reservations. While there is also a Space 220 restaurant, both the lounge and the restaurant are located in the same area. The major difference is that the lounge allows you to order from a variety of options while the restaurant offers a prixe fixe menu. There are also quite a few menu items that are exclusive to only the lounge, making it one of our favorite bars in EPCOT.
Whether you’re seated at a table or the bar area, you’ll have a fantastic view of large windows that look out over the galaxy and planet Earth. Keep a close eye on the windows, as you may be lucky enough to spot an astronaut or space shuttle!
Some favorite bites off the menu at the Space 220 Lounge are the Chicken on a Waffle and the Blue Moon Cauliflower.
As for beverages, there are both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. You can also order from a selection of wines and beer, but the real fun is in the speciality galactic drinks. This bar uses popping pearls, boba, and unique flavored foams to create beverages that truly feel out of this world.
Since there is limited room up in this space shuttle, you’ll need a reservation or ask to join the walkup list using the My Disney Experience app. Fortunately, we can help with booking dining reservations so that you can focus on having fun and enjoying the theme parks!
