The Magic Kingdom theme park has several quick service counters and carts that offer delicious food, as well as several sit-down restaurants. Disney is known for its theming, and all of their restaurants fit in perfectly with the surrounding decor and offer a variety of food options. No matter what you enjoy eating, there is likely something for you in the Magic Kingdom.
If you’re looking to spend about an hour or so out of the sun during one of your meals, these are our picks for the top three best restaurants in the Magic Kingdom.
Be Our Guest
For fans of Beauty and the Beast, Be Our Guest is a can’t-miss dining experience. Depending on the time of your reservation, you’ll be able to enjoy lunch or dinner in the Beast’s castle.
There are three different dining rooms that you may be seated at. The Grand Ballroom is the largest and offers beautiful views of snow falling outside, no matter what the temperature is. The Rose Gallery is smaller and offers elegant paintings and decor of Belle and the Beast. The final room is the forbidden West Wing. While it is the darkest of all three rooms, it allows you to dine next to the enchanted rose. Your host will sit you in any of the three rooms, but it can never hurt to request the room you’re most interested in when you check in for your reservation!
This restaurant has a fixed price that allows you to order an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Adults pay $70 while the price of a child is a little lower at only $41. For appetizers, I recommend the French Onion Soup, but you can also order Escargot de Bourgogne, salad, Duck and Pork Terrine, or Potato-Leek Soup. Entrées options include pork chop, roasted chicken, pan-roasted squash, trout, and filet mignon. To finish your meal, you’ll get a dessert trio with a macaron, a dark chocolate truffle, and a chocolate tart with the iconic “grey stuff” from Beauty and the Beast.
Even though this is not technically a character dining experience, you can see a special guest during your meal. The Beast walks around all of the dining areas every half hour or so to wave to guests and allow for pictures, though he does not stop at each table for individual pictures of autographs. Still, it is a nice touch on top of an enjoyable meal within the theme park.

Tony’s Town Square
Located in Main Street U.S.A.’s Town Square is Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, a sit-down restaurant themed after Lady and the Tramp. As you can probably guess, Tony’s serves Italian food and is open for both lunch and dinner.
You can make an advanced dining reservation if you know this is a place you want to dine at, or if the park is not too crowded, you may also be able to join the walk-up waitlist using the My Disney Experience app.
Just like Be Our Guest, Tony’s has three separate dining rooms. There’s an outdoor patio, as well as two air-conditioned rooms: the indoor dining room and the indoor sunroom. Even if you sit outside on the patio, be sure to head inside for a quick look at the adorable Lady and Tramp fountain! If it’s not too hot out, we recommend the patio during the afternoon, as you may get seated at a table with a great view of the Festival of Fantasy parade!
This restaurant has everything you would expect from an Italian restaurant: garlic bread, fried mozzarella, spaghetti and meatballs, and more. The familiar items may be perfect for those with picky eaters, but they also serve shrimp scampi and braised beef short rib for those looking for something beyond pasta with a red sauce.
Tony’s Garlic Bread For The Table is a guest favorite, but they also offer salads if you’re looking for a lighter appetizer. They even have Impossible meatballs for vegetarian guests! For little ones, they also have buttered noodles, and macaroni and cheese.
So if you’re a fan of Lady and the Tramp or just want a classic plate of Italian food during your vacation, Tony’s is the place to go.
Columbia Harbour House
For lovers of seafood, Columbia Harbour House is the place to eat while in Magic Kingdom. This is a quick-service restaurant, so no dining reservation is required and you can mobile order your meal on your phone to avoid waiting in lines.
This restaurant is open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM so you can eat here for either lunch or dinner. The lobster roll is a guest favorite, but you can also order grilled salmon, a fish sandwich, chicken strips, and even a New England Shrimp Boil! They also have a plant-based crab cake sandwich, as well as various sides like french fries and hushpuppies. For dessert, you can order Boston Cream Pie and occasionally you can find seasonal desserts here as well!
Once you get your food, you’re able to take it to go or find a table. If it seems busy, try heading upstairs. It tends to be less crowded and you can even find a table near a window to enjoy views of guests enjoying the Magic Kingdom theme park.
